Pakistan Day Parade With 31 gun salutes in Islamabad and 21 gun salutes in the provincial capitals, Pakistan's celebrations for Pakistan Day begin on March 23. It was followed by a joint parade the three forces of military: Pakistan Army, Navy and Air Force, at Shakarparian Parade Avenue in the capital. To witness the celebration Parade on the 77th Pakistan Day, President Mamnoon Hussain, chief guest of the event, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Mohammad Zakaullah and Defence Minister Khawaja Asif are present. Among other chief dignitaries and guests is the Chief of South African National Defence Force General Solly Zacharia.
