Introduction

Since we are 4 people in a single group, we had to build two different cities: a good one, as an example; and a bankrupt one.

THE GOOD AND SUSTAINABLE ONE

FIRST STEPS

These are some of the things we decided to do at the beginning of the game: 1) Skip turns to save money. 2) Not log any forest or increase local body rates. 3) Prospect our lands to search for natural resources.

PROGRESS OF OUR CITY

Then, we decided to build a farmland in order to increase our population and produce jobs, after that we considered the option of building a paper mill, but it impacted the enviroment.

We started running out of energy and found coal so we decided to build a coal mine and a hydro plant.

We decided to build several things in order to keep the enviroment balanced

Even though we focused more in our money and energy supply rather than our inhabitants and tourism, we got a bustling town with a happy population.

Our weak point was the population's hapinness. However, this was compensated by the fact that taxes were low and the environment was being respected.

BAD TOWN

THE NON-SUSTAINABLE ONE

At the beginning of the game: 1) We didn’t save any money, 2) After that,we built a gas well and a coal mine. 3) We logged every forest and increased the taxes. 4)We had a big lack of energy.

FIRST STEPS

We had a lot of money because taxes were very high so we decided to build a nuclear power station which really impacts the environment, a stadium and an aluminum smelter. Finally our city was bankrupt in the turn 65
