ERASMUS+ PROJECT RESULTS PLATFORM
SCHOOL MANAGEMENT INVOLVED
Management has taken the lead on school´s modernization from the very beginning by encouraging teachers to participate in any action that means innovation and moving forward.
School management has also provided a new IT & video-conference room for European projects with the latest technology in media.
SCHOOL VISIBILITY
Our school IES Escultor Juan de Villanueva make efforts in every direction to be regularly present in media and social networks. More and more of our staff work all the time to post news about us and what is currently going on at school.
You can follow us in Twitter @iesescultorjuan and in the many blogs linked to our website.
METHODOLOGICAL CHANGE
More teachers than ever are taking part in methodological training courses or working groups about:
- Collaborative learning
- Learning by projects
- IT tools aimed to methodologies as flipped classroom
- Gamification
- eTwinning projects
Some of these teachers are exchanging information with others to spread out their recently acquired methodologies.
BILINGUAL PROGRAMME EXTENTED
A great success of our Bilingual Programme has been the extention in three more subjects up to a total of 11 subjects taught in English with the CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) methodology.
FURTHER ERASMUS+ PROJECTS
In addition to the already existing Erasmus+ KA103 for High Education (4 training internships in Porto, Portugal), the KA101 project has led to two further actions, which are currently taking place:
- KA219 Strategic Partnership for Schools project: From Robots to Robotics, with 4 countries working together. We contribute with 17 students and 8 teachers, at the moment developing 3D-printing with a maker movement perspective.
- KA102 for VET students: two training internships in Vilnius (Lithuania).
DIGITAL SKILLS ENHANCED
Meanwhile and as a result of the project the participants had to bring the best out in themselves in order to update their digital skills. Some of the courses they attended to were not only methodological but the outcomes had to be presented on neat and modern digital media, such as Prezi, YouTube or various infographics.

STAFF & STUDENTS MOTIVATION
The number of teachers and students collaborating in European projects such as Erasmus+ and eTwinning has significantly increased in the last two years due to an Erasmus drag effect.
INNOVATION THINK-TANK
A group of teachers contribute with proposals aiming to boost the school´s performance. The best ideas are discussed, tested, approved and then implemented if they are viable.
An outcome of this work has been the implementation of a new school´s management software, Tokapp School, which eliminates paper and communicates students´s absence to parents in real time by SMS.
