They assess each others using e-rubrics.

USE OF TECHNOLOGY

  1. They must create an avatar to play. Tellagami, Secondlife,
  2. They must use some different applications: POWTOON, COMIC CREATOR, WEBTOON, WIDEO, EMAZE... to ellaborate a video game or interactive game to play and learn in a fun way.
  3. Make a virtual passport as a Citizen of the World: Genially, Glogster.

FINAL PRODUCT

At the end of the video game they receive an amazing passport as a Citizen of the World.

CONTEXT

INTRODUCTION: Age:11-14 Languages: Englsih Curriculum: ICT, History, Language, English, Natural Science, Social Science, Arts and Crafts, Music. Number of partners: 5-6.

SCHEDULING

During a week, each country member has to design a "video game" (interactive activity) to play with others.

  • Enjoy using the New Technologies.
  • Communicate each others.
  • Collaborative in small and big group.

They must collaborate with other countries resolving their doubts and helping them. How? They have a forum in a common blog where they must participate during the week they are leading.

METHODOLOGY

Children work with some different techniques of Cooperative Learning such as group of experts. In that situation, each member work in a part of the project in which they are good at. Afterwards, they must share the information to others.

Children have to design a video game to interact with other countries. They must use different applications to design the structure of that game. Countries have to resolve some proofs about Gastronomy, History, Distinguished people, events, etc., such as quiz on History, upload some videos cooking by themselves some typical dishes of the leader country, dancing the most typical dance, make a 3D craft about an interesting place, do some interviews about distinguished people and rewrite their most popular quotation. After each country resolve one proof they could move to the next screen and get the lifes that they need to receive their own Citizen of the World Card.
