- It is 204 kilometres away Delhi, the capital of India.
- It was commissioned in 1632 by Shah Jahan.
- The tomb includes a mosque and a guest house and it's the focus of the Taj Mahal.

- The Taj Mahal was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983.
