Our definitions of a hero (Lawyers' Office)

To us, there are three differents parts of heroes. There are fictional heroes, real people and the main characters in books or movies. First, the heroes who are real. There are many categories for example for the political people there are Charles de Gaulle for France, or Aung Sann Suu Kyi for Birmany. For the human rights there are Martin Luther King for the U.S.A or Nelson Mandela for South Africa. Then, someone who made great things for the sciences for example Galileo, Neil Armstrong or Einstein. Next, there are the fictional people like Batman or Superman. He or she has to be courageous, brave, the hero who is a real person has to give his live for the others and have to do exceptional actions, the hero who is fictional must have superpowers or magical gadgets and have a lot of muscles. We can see fictional heroes in films, books or video games. At the beginning , a hero is an ordinary person, then he makes a good action and becomes a hero .We don't need a hero with many powers, we just need a person who helps others. For example, a doctor can be a hero because he saves many lives. He wears a sort of a costume like a hero . Everybody needs a hero in their life. For children, their hero can just be their mother, or their father.

First, to me, a hero is someone who gives his life for other people or he is an ideal to follow. Then, there are three different categories of a hero like the real heroes, the fictional heroes and the heroes in films, books or videogames. The real heroes give their life for people, they can be famous as Nelson Mandela or ordinary as doctors and they do exceptional actions. For instance, Martin Luther King has dedicated his full life to the respect of human rights. Moreover, there are the fictional heroes who have superpowers or magical gadgets and who wear an outfit like Superman, but they don't exist, they are only fictional. There are almost heroes in films, for example Bryan Mills in Taken who saves the life of his daughter and in books like Katniss Everdeen. Generally, they are the main characters of the story.

COLUCHE

We think Coluche incarnates some values of heroes. Since he was solidary and determined to help people who are poor and the population who can not buy food. His objective is to recover a lot of food to give back to the poor people. And his other objective is to give a good example for the population who can help the disadvantaged people. So for instance in news a baker in France would like to help the poor and he gave his leftovers of his bakery to poor people. But one day the police came to see and to stop him. And he was condemned for 3 months of jail. Coluche was important in the society since today we speak about his actions so he is a model for the French society.
