I was working as a teacher of primary education in a little village called “Novillas” (Zaragoza). After taking an online course about etwinning, I started my first project. The first projects had in common:

  • Between 2 partners
  • Objectives: The students learnt about culture from other students
  • The working language was Spanish + a little English
  • We shared the activities produced at school/classroom level by email and uploading them to the TwinSpace.

The next few projects changed:

  • I changed my school, starting to work in Ablitas (Navarra).
  • The working language was mainly English and a little Spanish.
  • The students started using ICT tools in the activities.
  • As a result, the project “Periodistas/Journalists” was runner up in the National eTwinning Contest.
  • I was invited to the eTwinning Annual Conference in Prague in 2009, where I learnt to introduce the video in etwinning projects

After this, big changes were introduced in the following projects:

  • The number of partners increased to 3
  • The Planning phase at the beginning of the project was necessary to achieve satisfactory results for all partners.
  • The project was based on collaboration ( not only on sharing activities).
  • As a result, the project “Comicnication” was awarded with a prize in the National etwinning Contest 2011.
  • I was invited to attend the eTwinning Conference in Budapest (2011) and had the opportunity to meet face to face my partner JANE POWELL, from England

New projects were developed:

  • Partners increased again.
  • Planning of the project at the initial stage was more detailed.
  • Coordination of the project had to be very careful.
As a result, the project TARAP (Take a Role and Play), based in little theatre plays, was about to be finalist in the National etwinning Contest in 2013, but It was not possible. However, I was invited to the eTwinning Annual Conference in Lisbon 2013.
