Are you wondering what Man-Pupu-Ner is? If so, you should know that this isa unique nature monument of Russia.The word "Man-pupu-ner" translates from Mansi language as "small mountain with idols".

Man-Pupu-Ner or the Seven Strong Men Rock Formations are a set of 7 gigantic abnormally shaped stone pillars around 30 to 42 m. high

It is sometimes called Ural Stonehenge.

The Man-Pupu-Ner is located in the Komi Republic region of Russia.

This natural monument became a winner of the Russian national contest “Seven Wonders of Russia” in 2007.

Seeing this natural wonder with your own eyes is not easy. The idols are located in a highly inaccessible district of the Komi Republic in the Troitsko-Pechyorsky District .

No human habitation and,for that matter, a motorway,or at least a railway can be found within a radius of 100 kilometres from the plateau

There are only two ways to see this natural wonder – either to fly there by helicopter, or walk many miles along the uninhabited territories.

4:30 AM – Departure from Perm City by private bus9:00 AM – Arrival to Nyrob village, 350 km9:15 AM – Departure by helicopter, 218 km (timing can change due to weather conditions)10:45 AM – Landing on a Plateau Manpupuner. Sightseeing tour.1:00-2:00 PM – Departure back (timing can change due to weather conditions).3:30 PM – Landing in Nyrob village and departure by bus.8:00 PM – Arrival to Perm City.

Helicopter flight distance from nearest village is 218 km, duration of flight is 1,5 hours. Excursion on the mountain will take 1,5 hours.
